Industrial Shabbat

Candle System

Available at LICHEN now

Industrial Shabbat imagines the unfinished work of the Bauhaus Metal Workshop by employing their principles: merging art with the practicalities of design and prioritizing longevity in style and function.

Shabbat is a Jewish ritual that signals the beginning of the days of rest. The weekly lighting of two candles marks the arrival of Shabbat. This practice symbolizes a pause, a parentheses, a time to gather, rest, and enjoy.
